Exciting Changes: Revamping Spoonful of Faith

Hey friends!

I am SO excited to share something that has been on my heart for quite awhile and is finally coming to fruition.

There are some big shifts coming to Spoonful of Faith. While this will always be a place for art and encouragement - I am excited to share that I will have some new offerings, resources, and classes and more coming as we head into the new year.

WHAT PROMPTED THIS SHIFT?

A little backstory for you - I began Spoonful of Faith in the month’s following my daughter’s birth as I was embarking on a new journey as a mom. I wanted a way to share my faith and creativity with others and also offer inspiration and encouragement. What began as a way to share my heart and art, turned into a successful and profitable business. Before I knew it, I was getting brand deals and licensing opportunities and my shop was growing. People connected to my art and loved my illustrations. While it has been an amazing journey that truly has God’s fingerprints all over it, there has always been more in my heart to offer here. I want to be able to refocus again on the heart of what this was all started for.

I have desired to truly be a source of sharing my heart, faith, and how to live your life creatively and use the gifts God has given you, right in your own life. I am a DIY’er by nature and always crafting or creating things for our home. When someone calls me for advice on business or how to make things, I beam to be able to offer support and advice. I am also the friend who is always encouraging you to be who God has created you to be. To live from freedom and express that in what you wear, how you live, how you style your home, and how you walk through your life with your people. I feel I haven’t been giving my full heart to this space and I am excited to share what is in the works…

WHAT IS AHEAD?

I’d be lying if I said I had it all completely mapped out. But I do have a blue print that I truly believe the Lord is leading me to follow.

FREE RESOURCES

You can look for more longer form content here on my blog with fun and FREE DIY’s as well as behind the scenes moments of life, business, and art here and on Youtube. I desire to get back to making and crafting at home and sharing what that looks like for me and my family and can’t wait to share things you can incorporate and use in your life as well!

CLASSES + WORKSHOPS

In the coming year, you can expect more workshops both online and in person that incorporate teaching art, home DIY’s, illustration and art techniques, as well as small business resources and tools. It lights me up to help others be equipped in using their creative gifts and I would love to be able to give you on demand access to tools that are going to be helpful for you as well as spur you on in using your creative gifts now.

LIFE, FAITH & ENCOURAGEMENT

Along with resourceful blogs, I hope to also offer more of my life, faith and encouragement through storytelling on my site again. I used to share a lot of my heart on motherhood, marriage, faith and what it looks like to trust God with your business on here and plan to get back to more of that in hopes to connect more to each of you in meaningful ways :)

OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK TOGETHER

Small Group Support - I will also be developing a group for fellow creatives that want to be in community with each other. We’ll meet a couple times a month and work through pain points, questions, and creative wins!

1 on 1 support - I have been privately coaching and mentoring creatives for a few years and finally feel ready to go public with my offerings. If you are looking for more specialized support in art, illustration, publishing, or small business questions - this will be for you.

Small Business Projects - I will be periodically opening my books again to help in design and illustration projects for small businesses.

SPOONFUL OF FAITH SHOP

I will still continue to have retail partnerships and create products to share with the world. I love product and it is such a big part of my heart to be able to create things that you can use in your everyday life that offer hope, joy, and encouragement. The Spoonful of Faith shop will remain open but with some slight changes. It’s been a long desire to create more stationery products, printable options with art and crafts, family and kids focused items, and limited handmade and original art. I am excited to see how the upcoming collections connect with you and am hopeful for all that is to come!

WHEN CAN WE EXPECT THIS?

These changes will begin to roll out in the next month and start of 2024. I will be making changes to my website to reflect the updates in December, and if you are a newsletter subscriber you will be the first to know as new things launch out into the world! Sign up here to make sure you get all the updates :)

As always thank you for being with me on this journey! It’s not always easy to shift and change, but it’s necessary to keep growing.

Xo, Jena
